Reflecting over this past week of trying to shoot at golden hour was a stressful one, the time sensitive nature of this project was very interesting, and I have never experienced it before.  Comparing to the studio I always have plenty of time to work and get the perfect shot I was looking for, but while outside trying to shoot for the golden hour I only had around an hour to work with before the sun fully set.  This meant I had to a lot more pre planning for shots, by scouting locations and coordinating with my model.  After I had a day with clear skies and my model also being free, I was able to head to Centrepoint park to take some portraits at sunset.  The ideas I had in mind for my photos was to be able to see the beautiful sunset in the background while having the subject face me.  This brought up more challenges on how to light my subjects face properly.  What I did to help with this was to bounce light off the snow and reflect it back to my subject.  This help a little bit but overall, the sky in the back was just too bright.  So, I had edited my photos to try and help it the best I could.  Overall, I liked how these photos turned out doing both portrait and street style shots and I should continue to improve on shooting at the golden hour.
